The Strawberry Siren – Australia’s Princess of Burlesque.
Nicknamed “The Tarantino of Burlesque … both sexy … and dangerous”, Strawberry Siren has received many awards and titles over her 7 years on the International Burlesque circuit. In 2013 she was crowned Miss Burlesque Australia in front of a roaring crowd and esteemed judges at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne.
This fiery red head has performed alongside many international Burlesque Heavyweights and has performed in Burlesque Festivals all over the world. She has also headlined and featured in some amazing shows and event’s including, Big Band Burlesque at Adelaide Fringe, The Best of Burlesque at Edinburgh Fringe, the Tim Burton Australian Exhibition Opening, opening night of the London Burlesque Festival, the Bombshell Ball in Brisbane, Melbourne SEXPO and the Australian Tattoo & Body Art Expo.
Burlesque is not Strawberry’s only claim to fame. She has 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, in many different capacities. She grew up in the world-renowned, Flying Fruit Fly Circus, touring and performing from the age of 11. She has appeared in National television commercials & dramas, as well as theatre productions and musicals.
She recently played the role of Stephanie Wells in the feature Film by Southside Productions, Only the Young Die Good. She is a founding member of the Australian Burlesque Association and has worked as a volunteer at the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend in Las Vegas. Strawberry can also be found posing for popular Pin-Up publications, magazines and artistic projects.
